A true Western atmosphere. The ribeye steak I had was wonderful. The baked potato was somewhat overcooked. You get a soup and salad bar, that has some interesting cheeses, and hot peppers--chili, jalapeno, and pepperocini. The meal is a great value as everything comes with soup, salad bar, drinks, and complimentary dessert. The atmosphere while authentic is a little scary! My ribeye was definitely better than Outback or most steak restaurants--an Arizona experience.

Ahhh Horsemen's. My first sweet-potato fry. One of my favorite places. During my many years in Flag, I celebrated countless birthdays, raises, and even an anniversary here. It was a tradition. A true Flagstaff landmark-a woodsy cowboy lodge meets taxidermist. Good steaks and ribs, but I always have the sauteed scallops in a mushroom cream sauce. Great salad bar-I love to load up on the fruit salad with apples and marshmallows. Horsemen's is lacking in the dessert arena, but you do get complimentary ice cream or sherbet. Service is usually good, but sometimes there is a wait for a table as they don't take reservations. I still eat here when I'm in town. Four stars objectively but five stars to me.
